Protect Paradise Valley.

Paradise Valley’s success has always been rooted in thoughtful planning, responsible governance, and a strong commitment to preserving the unique qualities that define the community. Bill believes that tradition must continue.

He is committed to protecting Paradise Valley’s low-density neighborhoods, preserving mountain views and open space, and ensuring that any development respects the Town’s long-standing character.

Bill also believes strong public safety, fiscal discipline, and responsible long-term water planning are essential to protecting the Town’s future. His priorities include maintaining Paradise Valley’s tradition of no property taxes, supporting the Town’s police and fire services, and ensuring transparent budgeting and smart financial management.

Bill is running for Paradise Valley Town Council to provide steady leadership focused on protecting what makes Paradise Valley special — today and for generations to come.

About Bill

Bill Nassikas is a longtime Paradise Valley resident, business leader, and hospitality executive with decades of experience building and managing world-class destinations.

For over two decades, Bill served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Westroc Hospitality, a company known for transforming iconic Arizona properties into premier resorts and destinations. Under his leadership, Westroc revitalized landmark properties such as Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa, Hotel Valley Ho, and Mountain Shadows Resort Scottsdale, helping make Paradise Valley and Scottsdale internationally recognized luxury travel destinations.

Bill grew up in the hospitality industry as the son of hotelier James A. Nassikas, founder of the Stanford Court Hotel in San Francisco. That early exposure to world-class hospitality helped shape Bill’s lifelong commitment to excellence in business and service.

Over the course of his career, Bill has held senior leadership positions across the hospitality industry, including serving as Senior Vice President of Operations at Grand Bay Resorts, where he oversaw operations for renowned properties including The Boulders Resort & Spa, Carmel Valley Ranch, The Lodge at Ventana Canyon, and The Peaks Resort & Spa.

Bill also played a key role in the conception and development of Deer Valley Resort in Utah, one of the most successful luxury ski resorts in North America.

He is a graduate of the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and also studied at the prestigious École Hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland.

Bill has been widely recognized for his leadership and contributions to the hospitality industry, including being named “Hotelier of the Year” by the Arizona Lodging and Tourism Association and being inducted into The Arizona Culinary Hall of Fame.

Beyond business, Bill has remained deeply involved in education and industry leadership, serving as a visiting lecturer at Arizona State University, Cornell University, and other hospitality programs while mentoring the next generation of leaders.

Today, Bill is running for Paradise Valley Town Council to bring the same thoughtful leadership, fiscal discipline, and long-term vision that guided his business career to the future of the Town he calls home.
